I'm going to be getting my exhaust boxes painted in high temp paint, where can I get it fom ?

I know that demon tweeks sell it, but tbh it's a bit on the pricey side [smilie=doubt.gif] where else does it ?

The exhaust (standard item) is fine, but it's dull as :( & I doubt it'll come up by buffing it etc, so i'm going to get it painted black (probably matt black)
As i'm getting the cambelt & clutch etc done soon, i'll get that done too [smilie=cool.gif]

I just need to supply the paint.

Will Hammerite be ok for the temps that the exhaust reaches though ?

I would be really reluctant to use hammerite as it is quite likely to just flake off or worse bubble up and look horrible. I know from experience that after a hard run or prolonged time at high speed my back box gets VERY hot.

You need Sperex HT exhaust paint, you can buy it in aerosols in a variety of colours matt black included. May take some finding but quite a few factors will sell it.

I've used it on race manifolds and it stays on them so you should be laughing!

Thanks for posting that swebite up, I can't see the paint on there though (maybe it's just me) I went to DEI's site direct, but their prices are all in dollars [smilie=doubt.gif]
