Hi there

Hello everyone, thought I should introduce myself. I've always been a big fan of the Clio V6 (particularly the phase 1) and whilst it's perhaps not the most dynamic thing from the factory (compared to it's modern competitors), there is definitely something special about them. I only finished university in the summer of last year so a Clio V6 of my own is perhaps something for the future. I was stogg, I mean sensible enough to save (over the 7-8 years of on-off part time jobs) the money to buy my first car, a Fiesta MK7 ST2 (MP215). It's a riot to drive but doesn't quite have that V6 howl :(. I'm in the North West/ West Midlands region so if there are any meets or more general car meets you guys are attending, I'd be more than happy to say 'hello' in person! I'm looking forward to learning more about these fantastic cars.

Cheers,

Cameron

Hi Cameron,

Welcome to the forum, there is a whole load of info. here for you to get to know the V6. Have a dig around, and all our members are helpful if you have a specific question.

Even more available in the Knowledge Base and so on if you sign up to the club as a member, which is worthwhile, especially as you get closer to a purchase :)

Quite possibly a Lake District drive planned for the summer, you'll be welcome to tag along.

Where are you based in the North West? I'm over near Blackburn if you ever local want to have a look around a vee ;)

Thanks for the welcome guys. The meet in the lake district would be great, especially with all those great driving roads around there! I'm going to give the Evo Triangle a go this week. It's nice to have a car which is appropriate for the job, hopefully the start of many great roads being driven on! :race:

Russo-Unfortunately I'm in the Shropshire area so it's a bit of a trek out to Blackburn, but appreciate your kind offer.
