Help!! Megane wont start

Reet need a bit of advice. The megane Cab (1999 Ph2 RF plip key) had been stood for a week or so with the weather. So was going to take it for a run today.. I decided to change the seals though on the throttle body... didnt start it up before doing anything just cracked on and replaced the seals... It now is refusing to start.

Ive looked over everythig i unplugged etc and checked that everything is back together. Its got one of those Cobra 0144 alarms in it but i dont know if its tied to a seperate imobiliser or if it just uses the standard one.

The imobiliser light on the dash flashes away rapidly when trying to start it which isnt normal but i cant remember if it did that before or not. I know the light is supposed to go out. Ive looked around and there is some mention of the fusebox by the battery but havent had a look in here yet.

I think im just gonna get someone out to look at it but who would be best.. Auto electrician or Auto locksmith?

Any other advice greatly welcomed

Well she's still dead as a dodo. Im looking at getting a replacemnet ecu and UIC along with keys etc.

DOes anyone know the differences with the part numbers.. seen about 4 different ones for the 1.6 16v K4M ecu

Have you got two keys, Try each. I had one key for my W reg Clio, and had the same flashing light. sometimes it would start sometimes not. I got the key copied, before it broke. as the chip in the key was playing up, This cost me £35, No UCH etc etc. Check that yours keys are fine first. If you fine both key's are the same take it to a good locksmith, to see if he can read the key. Mine was done in attercliffe Sheffield, If your thinking of asking which locksmith I used.

Start with the simple, before you rip out the UCH.

Also with the Clio there some sort of fuse 21 trick, that i heard about but never tried. This low power fuse is for the immobiliser, So also google that, and check the fuse is ok.
