Hi All,
Just joined as we have just bought a good condition 1994 1.4 Renault 5 Campus Prima. My wife and I have owned 3 'Fives' in the dim and distant past: a 1987 1.4 GTS, a 1989 1.2 TR and a 1990 1.1 Campus, which was part-exchanged nearly 15 years ago due to the demands of a growing family.
This latest 5 is purely a hobby car; was stored in a garage for a number of years and the body work is in excellent condition. Mechanically, it is usable, but needs attention in a couple of areas - I will post separately about this.
I am not a trained mechanic but willing to tackle anything and the purchase of the car is partly to scratch that itch.
