Headlight Washer Jet Replacement

v6had

New Member
Seasons Greetings to all fellow V6 owners :salut:

I noticed only the other day that the actual wash jet part of the headlight washer was missing, where its gone and when it went is a complete mystery. The large plastic part attached to the bumper is still intact and in place but the part which directs the jet seems to have gone vanished. Any how I have since ordered a new one from Renault Parts Direct whom may I add provided great service once again! :approve:

The issue I have now is that I cant for the life of me work out how to remove the old washer jet to install the new one. Looking at the new part it looks as though it screws to the into the bumper but I didn't want to run the risk of using a little bit too much force and breaking something. Therefore I was hoping that someone on here may have had to replace one in the past?

Thank you all in advance.

Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year to all! [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Inside the bumper. Black nut holds it on 22/24mm Socket

Crimp washer tube, remove tube. Undo nut.

Don't over tighten nut putting it back on.

Small hands needed behind the wheel arch.

Greetings Hadley

You can do it by only removing the arch liner screws the run along the bottom of the arch liner where it meets the front bumper d panel. Like like James said u need small hands and its only one bolt but easier with mole grips as u will struggle with a socket your going to need to take the arch liner off which means taking the wheel off first if u have big hands though.
