Groupbuy hispec 4 breaksystem

Hi guys,

to make a long story short: couple months ago Hispec,Brembo and AP was contacted to build a breaksystem for the beloved 21's. Brembo and AP was out off the competition because off rediculous prices. Over 1500? for a bigbrake 4 pot conversion was over the top. Hispec was the only company with respectable prices. They did already the 5, clio, 19. Even they done nothing for the 21, the time was there for a development. Hispec received a standard 21 turbo hub with original calipers, pads, disc.

This is the result:










Measurments:

Whe can offer 2 systems, one that fit 16" wheels and a set that needs 17".

- 310 BILLET 4 CONVERSION @ ?832.17 + DELIVERY & VAT (16" wheels)
- 325 BILLET 4 CONVERSION @ ?854.17 + DELIVERY & VAT (17" wheels)

Picture above shows 16" wheels with clearance between caliper and wheel from 11 mm !!

This groupbuy will give us a 10% discount.

Still need 15's to go on for wintertime, can't be arsed to change brakes every time as well..

I would love some. but i haven't got that sort of money and i wouldn't touce hi spec brakes if you paid me.

I "googled" them & was bored after 2 pages - some good reports & some not so....From what i gather, the mass produced replacement stuff is good quality & some of the bespoke or short run stuff can be shabby (apparently...) I personally think they look the nuts & if there's some already fitted to a 21 (all be it abroad) at least someone is testing them..

16" version would do me as i don't like the handling on 17's.........

My AP conversion cost me around ?550, admittedly the discs I used werent brand new - if they were then it would of been around ?700. The brackets didnt cost me anything as a mate made them for me. So around ?250 cheaper! Although if I was to do it for anyone else you'd probably be looking at around ?850-?900, but this is very much dependant on if you decided to go with a brand new set of calipers like I did or get a used pair from somewhere. But I have to say I would always prefer to go for APs over something like Highspec but thats just my opinion!

Ok, i've had a price update from Hispec....

Buy 3 kits & get a 10% discount
Buy 4 kits or more & get a 20% discount

10% off would make the 17" version ?768.00 + vat
20% off would make the 17" version ?683.00 + vat

10% off would make the 16" version ?750.00 + vat
20% off would make the 16" version ?665.00 + vat

Anyone interested............or is it "mum's the word" as per usual regarding mods on this forum....??

Yeh thats with APs ludacrous profit on top though isnt it!!!

You dont need bells & rotors - Clio V6 discs do the job nicely.

Custom solid brackets eh - I very much doubt you'd be using hollow custom brackets!!! :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

If I ever need more than std brakes i'll weld a second set of std calipers onto the front of the hub :icon_lol:

guy's, this aint an obligation. I know its expansive, whe all now that but it doesnt matter if you buy it for the 21 or for another car. An upgrade brakeset always costs money.

Whe just tried to get it more attractive for the members.

Still waiting to hear - the "hispec" option needs no brackets or machining etc.....
