GROUP BUY: Polished Plenum's

Jonny

New Member
So I have been in contact with a person who lives near me about polishing the plenum on our vee's.

The price for a single unit is £250, this price would involve you sending your plenum to myself and I will have it polished and posted back all included in the price.

If he can get 10+ interested people the price will reduce to £200 each including postage.

This is some of his work not on vee plenum's but gives an idea of the standard of his work.

Turn around time would be roughly 1 week from receiving your plenum in the post.

Thanks,

They do look good :approve: I'd thought about getting mine painted but the polished style looks more "oem+" ;)

Whats the after care like on these?
I imagine they'll naturally tarnish over time?

I am unsure as to what way they wear over the years but I have not heard any bad comments from users who have carried out this modification.

Just a few photos of other members polished plenum's to give an idea of what the vee plenum looks like polished up.

Hope they don't mind me stealing the photos of their hard work.

Thanks,
Jonny

Very easy to remove Jim, about 10 bolts and unclip a few pipes etc. Not much weight in them but make sure you get insurance as I wouldn't fancy replacing it!!!!!

Is there a gasket/seal that needs to be replaced before re-fitting the plenum?
Made my own up with some gasket paper, easy job to do ;) IIRC Renault wanted about £35 for them!!!!

I'm interested in having my done they look epic :approve:

not sure about posting to northern Ireland though possibility of damage/loss in transit scares me :s
