I guess Mas Du Clos and the story of the Bibblybong pills, Terry Tibbs, needs to be explained to those who didnt come. Stuff legends are made of :) One awesome trip I wish more people had come.

Just a matter of interest. Out of those who have voted for steering wheels, do you mean an OEM/retrimmed replacement for the damaged prone PH1 type or an aftermarket replacement?

Could do with ventureshield group buy in nxt 2to3 weeks as bumper gettting done.
Place in warrington can do a discounted price of 250 plus vat for 4 or more cars if that's any good?
Its the only authorised venturesheild supplier in the north west so bit limited for choice.

Is that for the full kit?! if so thats a bloody brilliant price :approve:

Theres a few issues that would need to be addressed if this GB went in this direction, would the buyers be able to buy it and have it fitted at a later date? Im thinking people may need bumpers respraying before application etc

That's for wings and bumer mate.

The company in warrington needed either full payment or deposits to be able to do it. These could then be booked in at a later date.

I have just one concern at the moment. The stats show that 10 people have voted for ventursheild. If 3 of those are from the southern end of the country a few in the midlands and a few further up north its only common scense that people will want to use something local. Problem with that is we might struggle to get a good deals as only 2 or 3 people will be using each company.
It is more convenient for me personaly to use the one on my doorstep but I reckon it might be best for the group buy to limit the use to only one or two companies max. I'm not fussed how far I travel but how do others feel about traveling to get it done? I'm just thinking it might be best to get one done nearer your end Matt and one abit further south.

Obviously just trying to keep everyone interested and happy at the minute.

£250 for bumper and wings is a very, very good price Matt.

I can feel your problem with this one Brett, how about talking to the head company direct, explaining the situation to them, then possibly a company will take the money as a whole and then use there reps/fitters to fit locally?

I was thinking of exactly the same thing Mossy. Would definatly solve a few issues. Will give it a look fella. :approve:

Thanks Brett, my vee will be having the whole front end sprayed soon, therefore my high interest in this :approve:

Business is business so there must be deals to be done even if its multi-location ... the right man is on the job in brett but he always has another man to call on of course, the names tibbs - terry tibbs ...

Martin

I voted for ventureshield and steering wheel. I would love my ph2 repaired, the thumb grips have cracked and I just feel wrong driving it when I know it's not perfect. Thing is a new v6 wheel is £550!!!!
I'm also getting my front end resprayed soon!

My bumper is getting sprayed next week and booked venture shield in a Warrington for the end of August.
If anyone else (4 or more) fancies getting it done Russell at Invisible Patterns will do it for 250+VAT. He will however, need deposits/full payments. You can then get then done whenever you want to. It take about a day to do.
cheers.

might be up for this, not anywhere near getting bumper sprayed but if they can hang on for a month or two would be worth signing up now, how many others have we got for warrington?
