Yes, the 30mm stub could be longer?? hence the difference.
But then again it could be incorrect manufacture, I'll see what the manual says next week.

Diameters aren't an issue mate, it's length that's the problem. The female just isn't deep enough to accept all of my stub.

Dan I've sent texts and emails to Simon Gamben and that Clee fella on Sunday asking for inner cv's lol and neither have replied lol

I've also set about searching for some Lotus Esprit items, the rear wheel bearing on an Esprit is the same as the front on a 21 btw (don't help me but bit of Trivia)

Never compared CVs taken both types off but cant for the life of me remember the differences but they are .Trouble is GTA shafts are getting very scarce .I will have a search .I know I have 2 sets but might need them for a project car .I can measure them and see ??

Measured the depth of spline .
7 mm unsplined counter bore then 39mm of splines .

Thanks mate, Im not sure a swap is what I'd want to do as I'd lose money but if I fail in my search, I'll bear it in mind
