gearbox linkage play

I am trying to remove front cover of my Gordini box, i have 1 detent spring out, + one peg in a hole covered by slot screw. I also have removed the circlip on reverse selctor rod. Cover comes off about an inch then refuses to go more...ideas sparkie...anyone?

i've never taken one apart. - gordini singh has done one several times now!

done it, my 15 year old spotted 1 detent bb i had missed, doh
