Hi Guys,

I'm trying to find someone to fit some pads onto my MKII in SW-London, or South Bucks maybe?

Tried calling Kwik-Shit but they refuse to fit Mintex that I would provide!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just had this exact same thing this morning. They want the car and will then source their own pads etc and then fit them.

How did you get on with this? Need ot get my pads done and ideally this weekend, also want the tracking / geometry settings done.

I have managed to find a small garage that do classic cars mainly and are sourcing me RedStuff pads all round.

40 quid per hour. Now bad!

Am near Putney. What's this garage called? Do you know if they can sort out tracking / geometry as well as after getting my rears changed at the weekend i'm pretty sure i need this done now. Or can you recommend a garage near London that can do this? I don't fancy the trip all the way to Demon Tweeks but am happy to travel an hour, hour and a half or so.

Are the RedStuff's any good? Bit more expensive than Mintex, do they work well form cold etc? £40 per hour seems quite a lot but then they should eb able to do it all wihtin an hour shouldn't they?
