no, because you will need the tool to get the pump back in, it allows you to hold the pump and turn the ring, you have to do this until the arrows line up on the ph2 so i bet the ph 1 is the same.

Hi jack, yes looks very similar to the ph2 sender, there are a few subtle differences though and would like to have a closer look. feel sure its repairable, if you wish to send it to me i will test it for both pressure and flow, this will give you an idea if its within the pump that your problem lies. i dont want anything for testing it just as explained before, i don't want to be out of pocket.
