5 GT Turbo Fuel pump setup

has any one got a pic of the fuel pump setup on a gtt? my campus has a mechanical pump and no electrical one so its something i need to add in but can picture it? any one help out? i hope to be able to just mount it all in the same fashion as the original using my original tank....

Not sure if this is any good, but its a pic i took of mine last year whilst i was under the car. I will be fitting a new pump, filter & pipes this year with a bit of luck...

excellent just what i wanted, i can find the bolt on clamp bits new (green), but the backing plate (red) i cant, anyone know the part number? or have one going spare?

You will need the gtt or derv sender too adey as the pipes are bigger

Back plate is a bitch to get off, so rare too see sold on its own.

were there any 5s sold with an in tank pump? only ask as they did an SPI version, cant see it in the book of lies though. might end up having to make a bracket up out of stainless if i cant get one​

Found this in the updated dark green book. Tempted to see if I can find a pump and check it out as a drop in for my tank, @Brigsy do you know if there are any differences in the tanks you have seen on the vans and 5s?

Diesel van tank is nigh on identical to the gtt. Even has the baffle in mine. I would just bosh a gtt or diesel sender in yours, knock up a pmt style bracket to hold an external pump & filter on yours & 8mm copper fuel lines. Job done

Im not sure if the Haynes is trustworthy regarding the in tank pump comments.
My shell is originally a 1996 N-Reg 1390cc campus, the fuel pump is mounted underneath just like a gtt. I;m sure the tank and sender are identical too. Will check and confirm for you.

Just had a thought the clio mk1 fuel tank fits the 5 according to some of the French 5 gtt owners. Perhaps sourcing a clio tank with its in tank pump is an easy solution?
