hi everyone

for the last month my car has been knocking when i change gear it felt like a engine mountin had gone. So i change the dogbone mount thinking it was that and it keeps doin it. So i got a front gearbox mount went to put it on it will bolt to the subframe but i cnt find where it bolts to the gearbox if any1 has picz that would be great http://www.clio16valver.co.uk/forum/gar ... mage_id=59 Copy To Address Bar For Image

this the mount is the one im talkin bout

? That's not a front mount made that's a mount at the rear, which sits on the top of the subframe behind the PAS rack.

The mount you need to check is on top of the gearbox, underneath the battery tray. These commonly break.

ok i will check that but im still missin dat mount so would still like to put that 1 on

think he means the 4th mount?

in which case, it's not standard fit, but installs fairly easily anyway. can be had from an R19 or Clio 172 - nice guide in the members section ;)

You have the rear (dogbone/stabilising) and top (the battery tray one). Top one doesn't tend to break tbh. The dogbone is normally a cause for knocking and the gearstick moving on acceleration etc...

can you get dis from renault if so do you no how much and wot it is called

Thanks Mate Your A Life Saver, Everything I Needed.

Thanks Everyone For Helpping.
