For those who have a QS or QS OMG

Depends what you consider chav or cheesy to be....

A driver can make any car look cheesy/chav to other folk....

If I'm being honest....MIkeT's car to me looks chav/cheesy and overstated but its one of the best engine modded V6s there is.

Sorry Mike, but no disrespect meant at all, its just the image it portrayed in Fast Car this month wasn't for me.

I remember why I stopped buying that Mag about 10 years ago. Its terrible.......would have been better in practical performance car or Race & Track car mag or something!

I refuse to never buy those 'chav' mags ever again.

Thank God for EVO, Top Gear & Car....
 
Well if it sounds like a corsa with a Halfrauds exhaust, then no I think its not my cup of tea, if it sounds awesome and like a performance car, them i'll lap it up

That tunnel clip sounds amazing!! Have oyu only had the backbox changed or have you gone the whole hog?
 
You have to remeber the noise of a 1 litre corsa with a cheery bomb exhaust wil never sound like a big engine such as a V6, TVR, M3, Subaru/EVO etc with a similar induction/back box set - up.

You can't polish a turd!

The induction and exhaust mods on a V6 only aid in getting the best sound out of the Vee......try taking the engine covers of and going for a drive and see how that sounds.

If you like that (which I did) you shouldn't have too much bother with a backbox which is about 50 decibels quieter!

Remember QS make exhausts for Lotus etc.....the reputation/heritage is there!

It maybe a car boy racers aspire to have and it may have rather overt styling, but boy racer it's not

Do a search for all the info (dyno traces etc) that have already been posted.

BUT Remember Janspeed is:
- expensive
- fitting is costly
- the emissions light will come on
- and you'll fail the MOT.

QS is only the back box hence gains are less but its cheaper and easier to fit.

JamieG has them on and has passed MOT with them on. I will take mine in the summer with them on ( hope it passes now)

Well iv'e gone and done it, my new QS OMG comes on thursday [smilie=yay.gif] [smilie=yay.gif] [smilie=yay.gif] .

Ear plugs on order :lol:

So how quick is it to fit and does the back bumper need to come off etc etc?
