I'm sure most of you are aware of the great Petrolicious site and the beautiful films they do of owners and their classic cars, a lot of which are Modern Classics from the 80s onwards.

They are holding their 1st UK meeting at Bicester Heritage site and while they are not asking car clubs to attend (or setting aside a parking area for them unlike the Bicester Heritage events themselves) they want individuals with "Petrolicious" cars to attend so is it of interest to anyone?

If there was sufficient interest as a "Club" we could try to co-ordinate our entry time so that we arrive and park together. If not, then it still sounds like it should be a good Sunday morning out and you can arrive and leave at whatever time suits you as it's not an event like Silverstone or Kimbolton where the organisers try to tie people in to arriving and leaving at a certain time.
Bicester's first meeting of the year in cold January got a record breaking 7000 attendees so this could easily beat that.

FYI . they are also introducing a new series of behind the scenes films interviewing designers and technicians in workshops which will be for paid members only. Being a member gets you free entry to this event - otherwise it's only £12.50

Since the very beginning of Petrolicious, the United Kingdom has been a source; a place to find exceptional automobiles in an area of the world rich in beautiful locations for films and photographs.
But more important than the deep mines of mechanical and natural beauty that dot the land, the UK has proved to be a wellspring of likeminded enthusiasts who we are proud to call our supporters and collaborators, which is why we couldn’t be happier to announce that the first-ever Petrolicious Drivers’ Meeting will be held at Bicester Heritage on May 12th.
There will be various awards—including some for the parking lot contingent of cars—and we encourage you to bring your prides and joys to park in the Drive Tastefully section that will be open to Petrolicious-appropriate automobiles. Our inaugural Drivers’ Meeting is also one of our first events to carry member benefits; Petrolicious Members will enjoy free and priority access to the event, an exclusive parking area, and a rooftop terrace overlooking the venue for Founding Members. The event is open to anyone who wants to attend, and tickets for non-members will be £12.50.

This is shaping up to be an interesting meeting as they are putting effort into curating a display of vehicles so it's not just looking around the site like normal Heritage scramble days.
I contacted the organisers to see if the Clio V6 was their kind of car as their advert for the day is full of the usual British suspects like E Types and DB5 which is NOT what the site's films feature as they have lots of modern classics and thankfully it seems like they got a bit carried away with the British classics thing as they very much want cars like ours.
In fact they confirmed they have a R5 Turbo 2 and a Clio V6 as part of the 100 cars on display. :approve:

Other special displays are being put together like a Williams F1 display-
Quote "Williams Heritage will bring a selection of historic cars, including one of the iconic 1986 championship-winning FW11s. They’ll be joined by a 1975 FW04 from historic race car specialists Hall & Hall, and the very transporter that was used by Williams to transport the FW04 in period—a Ford-based vehicle restored privately to 1973 British Grand Prix specification by enthusiast Douglas Samuel "
