faulty bendix abs

when i got the blue ph1 cab there was no feel/pressure on the brake pedal, and the abs warning light was on,i checked the fuse today,it was fine,i cleaned the fuse blades and put it back, there was a groaning noise, the pedal pressured back up and the warning light went out,
with the car stationary,if you imitate gental braking it seems fine,if you dab hard on the pedal keeps pressure, the warning light comes on,then the groaning type noise comes on,the pedal pressures up and you can feel it push the pedal back up,

any ideas?

it's true im afraid mate, all advice goes down this line, i had/have the exact same problem on one of the cabs and this was the only real solution to it

Sounds like the accumulator is taking too long to get up to pressure. When you switch the ingnition on you should here a rrrrrrrrr noise from the passenger side of the engine bay.. thats the accumulator building pressure. If thats taking its time then its the pump the connections or battery.Because its been sat around a while maybe just needs using a bit to get it going again.
Check you have good battery connections clean the plugs on the abs loom.May get it running better.
