Ever feel like putting a car out of its misery?

Devil makes work for idle hands.
It was raining so i couldn't get my rendering done, wasted the day on ebay. come back to my computer this eve, bugger, bought another car.

renault clio project / track on eBay (end time 21-Feb-11 20:06:59 GMT)

I have no idea what to do with it. first thoughts were strip it and scrap it. Not the kind of thing i'd drive.

Think i need a tarp, certainly going to remain out of sight in my yard. still i suppose the tea tray on back might make it easier to stack another car on top.
with number of cars here atm seriously going to consider stacking them!

started out as a 1.4 rt, so i suppose as i had no luck selling the r5 for scrap money with mot i should take lump out and throw it in this and move it on! less the seats and harness as i have a use for them!

No idea of colour it started out as.

Can see no sense in putting a decent engine in it for some kid to rag and wrap round lamp post! and who over say 20 would drive it looking like that!

5 lump into the clio will be a lot of hassle and wiring.

Picking it up on sunday so will have a look. see what i gota play with, plus see how much grot the kit is covering. Got stacks of bodywork to do, but can't do any until weather improves, so it will give me a distraction till then!

about the same yes. the 4 engines are totally different to the clio engines and the efi (assuming its the OHV efi 5) is completely different

You should be able to get a 1.4 clio lump with loom etc for 50 quid or so.

with a decent engine in that some chav will buy it off you for a nice wad of cash, preferrably a 1.4 engine because i fear the kind of person wanting to drive that may be under the age of 22 or so
