5 GT Turbo Engine swap R5 SL 1989

Hey! I drive a R5 SL 1989 and I really need more power… I was thinking about engine swapping it with an 1.7 from a GTE, but does someone know another fun swap?

In my opinion it all depends on were you are and what is available. Look on the forum here and you can almost find every combination possible. An GTE engine wil be a bit harder to find then perhaps an clio 16v or volvo 1.7 turbo engine. Just because they were only made for the German market.

So what are your goals and how handy are you?
