Practical vee.... Soon to be in muddy fields around the country on the downhill biking runs :)

They look very useful. Something that makes me nervous in the Vee is getting a puncture, especially the sort from hitting a pot-hole which can't be fixed by the aerosol cans.

So I was thinking that a space-saver wheel could fit on the engine cover quite easily, but of course if you have a passenger, there would be nowhere to put the punctured wheel.. The roof rack, also carried on the engine cover, could just be the right bit of emergency kit needed.

Iv had a full size wheel in the back of mine all be it without a tyre when I picked the car up. I also had two new rear tyres in there when I went and had them replaced.

Looks good with the roof rack and nice to see it being used. Plenty of practicality if you think outside the box. Who needs a boot! I can remember a Mars red at le man I think that pulled the look of well.

The vee looks very cool with roof racks, especially with a bit of dirt on it an a hard as nails DH bike loaded up.

Id love to get another DH bike, Im really getting back into cycling again at the momentt. Although, these days I have far less skill and far more fear than I did as a teenager.

The yellow one...

The silver Mk 1... [smilie=yay.gif] [smilie=yay.gif] [smilie=yay.gif]

I have an Intense M3 that I need to get back out on, I was looking at the same setup not that long ago... bike trip to morzine in the clio is on the cards.

Where do you guys ride? I'm not far from Astonhill if anyone fancies a ride out. Or any of the South wales tracks?

I haven't ridden Aston all year :( but I've been riding Chicksands a bit on the jump/4x bike. I'll be there with the Vee when spring comes back round!
Will be at Revolution bike park this Saturday on the downhill bike but probably not in the Vee as I've only got the one cycle carrier at the moment

I ride locally, mostly around Swinley Forest or Tunnell Hill.

Man I always wanted an Intense. The M1 SL was always my dream bike.

The intense is nice. Always liked the M1.

If a newer version of the M3 came out I'd be all over it but the later versions don't do it for me.

It's blue, the cars blue. The alps have DH tracks and amazing driving roads. It's a no brainer.

Never been a fan of Intense for some reason...
Wouldn't mind a biking trip to the alps in the clio but need to start saving for petrol...

I'm fairly close to Aston Hill too. My bike is a bit nackered from the last time I took it there, but I'd be up for a ride!

I'd not heard of Aston Hill before, but looks like its only about 50mins from me. Well up for a ride in the new year!

It's a great course. Has it's easy-ish bits, and it's very challenging areas too. Quite a few people turn up with seriously proper kit so I do feel a little out of place with my standard mountain bike lol!
