Do worn engine mounts = worn suspension ?

When I had my cambelt change a couple of weeks ago they noticed that both the engine mounts were quite worn and needed replacing (I wondered where all that squeaking was coming from!)

If the engine mounts needed replacing at 24,000 miles what does this say about the state of the suspension overall (if anything)?

In general the suspension seems ok but when the road gets bumpy it does seem to take longer than i'd like to recover to a neutral position - dont know much about suspenion - is this to much 'rebound' ?

I'd appreciate peoples opinions.

Wot no replies at all ? :( was at the very least expecting to be told to do some more searching in the forum if the topics been covered elsewhere :) oh well going to post a topic on something similar soon.

I can't see any connection between the two -main engine mounts are mainly taking weight - the top and bottom mounts deal with the twisting forces from the engine under acceleration and engine braking. Neither related to suspension damping.

Buy a set of KW's will solve any spring and damping issues
