Difference between standard actuator and a -31?

Connect it to the 2 connector's on the cutout, Useing the continuity setting. As you increase the pressure the cutout will either make contact or break it I can't remember off my head right now. When you've adjusted it to the pressure you want it to cut out at, that's it job done!
Obviously you need to use a pump with a fairly decent guage on it! And make up some sort of pipe to use, but that's a good way of doing it. If your running standard set up then set it at about 17 or 18 psi.

ok cheers. ill give it a go when it stops raining. not sure if my multimeter has got continuity function tho:confused:

Ok then, put a +12v feed to one side of the cutoff, then multimeter to the other and to earth. You'll get 12v. Give pressure to the cutoff switch and wait for it to break the circuit. Record the break pressure.....do it 3 times and take the average.

thanks for your help guys!!!
will def try it tomorrow hopefully!!!
cheers,
pat :burnout:
