Damaged PH2 for sale.

roof damage...... im not sure on these things, but isnt roof damage really bad news?

it had some pretty heavy front end damage aswell. I saw pics of it on autotrader a couple of weeks ago and it looked in a really bad way, smashed windows, scrapes all over it. its clearly been rolled….those pics have now been taken off and replaced with the ones on the ebay add.

unless you knew what you were doing, you would be looking at a huge bill. could easily be 3-4k in parts let alone painting and labour.

theres a straight mars mk2 on the trader for about 3 grand more. id be AMAZED if you can repair that for the 3k…and the damaged one wouldn’t be worth anything more than you paid for it in resale.

I would only seriously look at that damaged one if it was half the price, or someone had already fixed it to a high standard….

Far too expensive IMO, especially with it having roof damage!! Done quite a few miles aswell so it hasn't even got the 'low mileage factor' going for it! [smilie=icon_thumbdown.gif]

I agree, it seems it has been rolled with that damage on the roof and looks more to it than just a damaged roof it looks like it had a hard time, mind the bonnet and head lights look ok 8-)

I'd go as far to state that the advert is misleading...

I'm no expert on celestial bodies but I'd swear the colour was MOONED red!

Jeees, the are 'taking the proverbial' asking that money for a wreck. [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Front end damage in an earlier ad? And still significant roof damage? And they want 9k - surely they're having a laugh. You'd have to strongly suspect that the chassis is distorted with the roof looking like that - would be "interesting" to see how/if the doors close.

Totally overpriced IMO. I'd put the value at about £5k and I would still be nervous about getting it back to a decent standard.

Stupidly overpriced to be honest, especially when i have came across 2-3 MKII's which were Cat C repaired for around the £10-5 mark......It would cost a small fortune to have this repaired properly and if bought for around 9ish which is just silly you would be getting into mint straight MKII money repairinng it....5k more like.......
Here is a MKII catc for you.....i know which i would be buying  oh sorry no link its sold....
