After I relocated to France, I couldn't put myself through selling the car, so I trailered it from my old home in Kent to our house here in France.
The day I crossed the channel was the weekend of hurricane Bertha.
The passport girl (a bit of a cutie I'd like to add) came out of her kiosk to get a closer look and remarked 'allors, ca....! C'est une belle voiture!!'
The storm followed me all the way! At one point I nearly lost the car and trailer as I looked in my rear view mirror and couldn't see the car/trailer, it was at a right angle to the tow car, aqua planing.....lol.

It now sits dormant (along side my Clio 172 hillclimb car) ready for a new ignition system I'm building, a different rollcage, and a redo of electrics and extinguisher.

Nearly wrote off Ricardos 182 at one event when I double drove his and my clios.....was always at 11-tenths when competing.

If you have to put dreams to the side that's ok, just don't give up on them. Great to see you've still got a clio. Didn't know you had the blue one but remember the red one. What happened to that? I might be wrong but think I remember it being for sale on your website?

Thank! Yes the house restoration and work have to come first I'm afraid......
The red Clio 16v was sold to a chap locally in Kent to make into a pure trackday car, I bought a rollcage from Sam Fish that came from his dad's car, and sold the the whole package.
There's a project thread on cliosport so where, then it sold to another guy who is restoring it to near original condition, again a project thread on Clio sport.
Cracking little cars really, and strangely quicker than an R5 gtt when both in standard form.
I've driven a few of them in the past.....starting to feel old now!
Another double drive, winning both standard and modified class in the same day. Hehehe!

Been a while, and it's nearly holiday time so gave her a spruce up!
I think she deserved it.

I also work part time in a French garage now, the boss is great fun.
Big lad (as in 2 meters tall and brick shit house size). Used to rally a Citroen AX and Pug 106 gti. Now competes in Kart Cross, looks bloody tempting!
May need a good source of R6/GSXR 600 engines, also looking into paddle shift systems and becoming a European dealer! Lol! Dreams eh??

Kart Cross looks like this.
