After I relocated to France, I couldn't put myself through selling the car, so I trailered it from my old home in Kent to our house here in France.
The day I crossed the channel was the weekend of hurricane Bertha.
The passport girl (a bit of a cutie I'd like to add) came out of her kiosk to get a closer look and remarked 'allors, ca....! C'est une belle voiture!!'
The storm followed me all the way! At one point I nearly lost the car and trailer as I looked in my rear view mirror and couldn't see the car/trailer, it was at a right angle to the tow car, aqua planing.....lol.
It now sits dormant (along side my Clio 172 hillclimb car) ready for a new ignition system I'm building, a different rollcage, and a redo of electrics and extinguisher.
