compression problem on williams convert

Hi I was just wondering if you know how to fix the compression problem that I have,I have just put the williams bottom end on my clio with the 1.8 16v head.
I have put the williams cams in it as well,i have tried to start it and I have no compression at all, could this be head gaskett with it being the wrong torque setting or have i done something else wrong.
I would be really greatful if any 1 can help.

Only genuine replies only.

well like i said by PM, either you've got no spark plugs in or the cams are timed wrong.

edit: actually spark plug idea makes no sense, since you'd have your compression tester in the plug hole of the cylinder you're testing :p

even if the hg is 30nm it would still build compression, not 200 psi but some. The cam timing is most likely wrong.

The pulley key on the cams might be broken, see it a lot when the belts have gone.
