cobra 8510 imobiliser

Hi people any chance of some basic electrical info. I have got to put an imobilser in my cabby for the insurance so this is the one i bought a 8510 cobra. firstly I need an unfused wire on the ignition barrel (ie straight from the battery constantly live). next I need to make the two cuts. The first needs to be live when the key is turn on and secondly it needs to stay live when the key is turned to start the starter motor. The second cut needs to be on a starter motor live. any info would be great cheers.
oh forgot to mention I would like to make all the cuts in the car near to the ignition barrel itself
cheers

your insurance company wont accept it if you simply install it yourself.
They require proof in the form of a certificate which is provided by the installer (Thatcham Approved Installer).
There are two ways of going about it, either get the immob installed by an approve d installer, or install it yourself and then get it checked over by an apporved installer, either way its going to cost you the same so save yourself the hassle and get them to install it.

i'm cat1 approved for alarms, your a bit far away to make it worthwhile but i do fitting from £50

there are lots of things to do with the actual fitting its not as simple as making sure the connections are ok. All connections need to be permanant, and there needs to be 12" between connections on the immobiliser circuit etc etc..

i do have some certificates here however, but i won't be signing them off unless i've at least seen the car... but if you want them unsigned.......

I have checked with insurance and they just want the certificate that came with imobiliser sounds strange I know I also asked if they wanted a VSIB certificate and they said no. so trying to save a few £`s and doing it myself.
cheers
