Its time to show my project, clio mk1 1.6 C3L EFI Turbo

it was near to six years finding parts learning and making as perfect as possible with a tight budget in many cases.

1.565cc forged
Head ported, uprated valves, springs, etc
stage 1 cam
MS2
t25+
Custom intake manifold
walbro 192lph
Custom fuel rail
Custom bi-tube exhaust downpipe

and finaly its alive...

Looks great. Im tempted to go the same route

here its difficult to find a good aluminium welder, but despite of that, its not that difficult, fuel rail its a dash6 (ebay) welded mounts and orb6 conectors (boostec ebay), manofild its a fiat chop and weld with a tube of the cc needed for the displacement and RPM band.
megasquirt its a DIY auto tune MS2, with bip coil, walbro 192l pump, new 5/16 fuel lines and thats it
the tuff part its to find someone to weld good and not cost an arm and a leg
 
Whats the spec of the engine to make 1565cc ? Stock c3l crank ? Im interested in going this route too.

Engine its c3l stock so its 1.565, main issue with this liners they are thinner than regular 1.4, for high boost applications it's an issue, here its dangerous running at around 1.3/4+ of boost because this ones usualy cracks and steel ones are realy difficult to afford .
 
Nice! Excited to see you using MegaSquirt - I'm using an MS2 for my Alpine A610 project
Mine's all up and running but as yet not been on the road. Loads of fiddly little bits to put back on the car first.

all those little bits demands lots of time and lots of try and error...

but when finnaly i have sorted them out basically fuel and oil leaks, basic wiring shielding, etc hopefully a friend helped me with the basic tunning and timming wich ended with the last video.

now with a safe AFR next step is to align the suspension and wait for the intercooler to come to raise boost

despite off the horrible connector MS2 its an incredible affordable and a complete EFI.

Months later...

4 iridium died, but again with old spark plugs its alive...


Now with shift light (check auto gearbox), warm up light (check engine), launch control, propper FMIC, some pvc tubing to for a quick test and 0.5 bar...:ireful2.gif:

but still no tach working...


within the next weeks ill change oil, install the aluminium 2.5" piping and will be 1.1/1.2 bar and then a dyno pull to see where it's the 1.6 cc EFI
