Got to say that in terms of "visual drama" LeeDun's Vee upstages that GT3 any day. :thumb

I bet it got plenty of attention from the fellow enthusiasts.

Fast it ain't though, being particularly difficult to hustle through bends with pace. (I'd liken it to 968 / 3.2 (911) pace - but not the lightweights / forced induction models).
That said, 20 year old cars aren't usually capable of matching their original performance standards.
For more pace - visit the special projects section... [smilie=bowdown.gif]
...or chop the Vee in for a four-pot lotus (or VX) and prepare to be under-whelmed. :D

hey guys, well it did get loads of attention. to be honest, it even got as much as the likes of the gt3rs that turned up. even the castle coombe marshalls and day co ordinator had a mosey and were asking questions.

umm as far as competetiveness (or however u spell it) it was very competetive.
its been slightly modded to help cope with track driving with lcg, but nothing spesh.
car was 96 dbs, so will run on any track pretty much. few engine mods, pipe, filter, remap. but mainly concentrated on handling.
i ran r888's, kw's. and proper brakes, pads and different hoses, couldnt get anywhere near on straights, lost about 1second from the big porsches gt3 and turbos, but out breaked there breaking points, and was on the gas quicker.

if im completely honest, the handling was second to none! stuck to the black stuff and had complete confidence in where i wanted to go and where i could stop. the more i made the car track into the corners, the more the car gave me to feel and use.

took me ages prior to the event to set up the suspension properly. but was really well worth it. it was wet in the morning, i had no over/understeer. no fishing either. (the gt3 above, which is my girlfriends father driving said he was driving on ice).

more confidence as it got dryer, and by the end of the day tailed a GT2 and dived down the inside of him into an off camber :-) ((not that your ment to be racing on a track day.......))

recommend it to anyone!
