I'm after some for mine so have started enquiries.
The first response has been that a one off set will cost £250 which would include making the moulds, thereafter cost would be about £160 per pair.
A quantity discount has been offered of 20% if there are a few people interested so that would mean about £130 per pair.
I would need to negotiate how we proceed if we need to cover the cost of the mould between us but I guess we could be looking at no more than £150 per pair.....hopefully less.

I can supply them Mk1 pods for the mould, thanks to MikeT, but we'd need to check if these fit Mk2 or if we can produce a set which work on both, either out of the mould or with a simple modification afterwards.

Mike knows someone who may be able to make some but he will let me know as soon as......

So, anyone interested????

Hmmm blue with carbon side pods. Could work. Any idea what the Weight saving would be?

Peter. :D

TBH what I really want to get rid of first is the chunky black mesh they have in the grill and over all vents on the car. The front is covered in the bloody stuff. IMO it needs some nice wire mesh like the trophys. Some nice thin wire mesh would look sweet! With carbon sidepods and cut-away rear bumper too.

Thing is I bet the insurance company would love that. About an extra £50 per mod.

Peter :(

Splitter is in Craig's hands I believe.....

Re. Alloy Mesh
You can get this in a lot of places but often it comes in 100X30mm. You need wider for the front bumper so be sure to check.

I would buy a set of carbon side pods if they become available. I would also like a carbon rear centre bumper section. :)

Chatting to Scott we believe they are slightly different shapes but fitment is the same. Scott is going to try one of Mike's Mk1 carbon pods on his own Mk2 to check...............

Yes James, I bought a carbon consul from them and noticed they did a front bumper so enquired about the pods............

TRW1 - how did you contact MVS? I tried to contact them so they could repair mine but got no response from the e-mail i sent.

Keep us posted about the pods.

Steve

Steve,
As James says, I contacted MVS through their ebay shop as I bought a carbon centre consul from them......

Tim

As we suspected the fitment for pods is the same so these would fit Mk1 and Mk2.
The mould would be taken from Mk1 pods as that's what we have available.
