Im having big problems at the mo... been out in the car today with no problems, went to go back out 15min later and the car wouldnt start, tried it 2min later then it started but sounded like a coil had gone then it died, started it again but when i went to rev it it would not rev just died on me again. fuel is fine as i had filled up with £30 vpower so i know its not that. What i did find was a 30amp fuse under the bonnet had melted but blown, I did replace it only to find the new one i put in got hot. I cant find any info on what the fuse is for, I have looked on this forum and the manual but no joy, could it be a coil problem? or maybe fuel pump?

Hard to find much reference to the fuse box you speak of. The manuals we have seems to call them engine, injection fuses.

I have emailed Fred for any info as he recenlty posted of having a problem in this area.

Think I have fixed it! The fuse holder was a bit salted so i think what happend was the fuse that was in there was not making contact and arcing out causing it to melt! I have now cut the wires and fittes a new fuse holder and all now seems well!

Now tell me i'm good

Ooops, sorry, ok im not that good. What i'll do is make it melt again then take some pics :D . just kidding, ill take some pics tomorrow of what I done incase anyone has the same problem. Then can you tell me how good I am?
