Car not started for 9 months

Was going to change the oil and filter, and charge the battery. But is there in anyones opinion any thing that would be a good idea to do before starting.

Turn the engine over by hand?
Remove the spark plugs and go for a start without compression to get any crap out of the cylinder?
Engine oil flush?

That kind of thing.

As you not had much response, i would suggest, ideally
disconnect fuel line ( ELECTRICS ONLY)
turn engine over on starter to pump and circulate oil and lubricate internals
reconnect fuel and start engine and get upto running temperature, ensuring cooling fans come on
Stop car, dump oil and refill with appropriate grade

Another possible thing is to remove spark plug and add a couple of squirts of light oil or a 'small' spray of wd40, but its not as if the engine is seized or anything, plus i wouldn't want to jeporadize your cats etc, but unlikely.

Has the car been completely stood for 9months? If so you might want to check your tyres and brakes first?
