5 GT Turbo Campus turbo

Hi I'm Mat and I've just bought the Campus turbo off of Adrian. I'm starting to do a few finishing touches, I've read through a few threads on various forums but I was after some info/advice. @Brigsy @Markey Mark BD i believe you guys are running quite high bhp, reliable engines I was wondering if you had any tips. Also as the suspension is all standard campus I can always convert it to ph2 gt turbo but I recall reading about people using 172 hubs and brakes etc. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this? I've had GTTs in the past but was just keen to know what the modern thinking on them is.

Right, ph2 suspension on the way, ph2 hubs, shafts and brakes sorted BUT now turbo has been confirmed as scrap so what are you guys running? I'm tempted to buy new or recon rather than get one off another vehicle eg 200sx. Aim is 200-220bhp. Any companies you recommend?

Hi Mat,

I run a GT2560r and I'm probably around 220 mark maybe a tad more. I bought mine from BTN Turbo. I think @Scott_higgy bought one from someone like AET which included relevant water banjo etc.

Yes it's simple enough.

You'll need the relevant water banjos x 2, an oil feed adaptor and a new actuator. I think my turbo was about £650 and then £100 odd for actuator and probably another £20 or so for the banjos etc. I'm no expert on turbos mate so there may well be others just as suitable or better.

If you buy from AET like Scott did I think you get most of that thrown in.
 
Yeah I went to AET and basically took my T2 off and stuck the gt2560r on. No dramas. Only had to get a different oil feed made up.

Was about £1k all in i think. Can't remember tbh
