5 GT Turbo Budget GT turbo build [ this thing is trying to bankrupt me lol]

Hello fellow Renault people , just wondering what turbos you are running on your Gt turbos ? Back in the day i always ran standard turbos even on the race car but things have moved on a long way since the 90s . Any advice or ideas welcome , cheers

Good question ? all being well 150 bhp would be nice any thing higher is a bonus but in all honesty as long as its not a slug and a bit of fun i will be happy .

Something like a garrett gbc could be worth a look for that power level. Turbo Garrett GBC Renault 5 GT Turbo

Oldskool t2/25 hybrid would also deliver. Ancient tech now but would do for 150hp.

I wish i had some ,long story but it went through allot of hands i got it back sold it to a lad i worked with who rolled it , we then repaired it at work ,painted it all one colour then it got smacked in the front , at witch point i got the last drive of it then it got broken for spares . Made me think of your back axle as that car was stiff and even with the rear shocks removed was not bouncy ,and only had standard rear shocks . Another weird fact was on the v5 it had the cc as 1300 not 1397 and just to help the dvla put it on a B reg but it was ph 2 spec and as far as i know the first gt turbos were 86 c reg so most struggled to insure it .
