Clio Campus 172 build

It's been a while since my last update. There's not a great deal been going on with the Clio tbh. I've been using it on and off for the daily commute and the odd little blast here and there. So far it's been behaving itself which is good.

I've booked a track slot for CSF this year so I'm planning to change a few things to a more track friendly setup.

I have a set PBS ProTrack pads to go on and some ATE Typ200 fluid. I don't think I'll bother with uprated rear pads.

I'm also intending on running a different tyre but undecided on what. Possibly AD08RS? Or maybe R888R?

I was up at Renomotive in Fife yesterday collecting a second hand Corbeau Clubsport and a JF subframe. The seat has suffered bad UV damage but in good nick otherwise. The upholstery comes off so I'm planning on dyeing it. See how we go.

And believe it or not.... the sun damage happened in Scotland!

looks like its been in a nuclear blast 😅 wash then throw in some dylon and itll prob look loads better
Think I'll give the washing machine dylon thing a go first since its straightforward.

While the 08R/RS are a good tyre they aren’t as grippy as a R888R.

Have you considered the AR1? They are pretty good, I know from personal experience the A052 are excellent but wear very quickly
I hadn't actually, I'll look into them. I'm planning on only having one set of wheels and travelling down with the car all set up and ready to go, so something with a bit of longevity would be a plus.
