Hi all.
I know its not Renault but just incase anyone is interested im putting my 330cd up for sale.
Its been mapped by a reputable guy and has turned it into a ridiculous torque monster.
Ive not had it dyno'd but he thinks its around 280hp and and over 400ft/lb, mapper reckons it would keep up with an E46 M3, and i believe him, its quick.
If you know these engines you know they suffer from swirl flap destruction and oil breather clogs. I have blanked off the swirl flaps and had the vortex breather put in. Also eliminated the EGR so its got as clean air in as possible.
I put a large intercooler on before it was mapped, decat and straight through exhaust (i still have the original exhaust aswell)
Engine is sweet. Gearbox works (these are also known to be dodgy, it had a re-con before I got it and i gave it a fluid and filter swap before the map)
Interior is good, its only missing from factory the satnav screen and heated seats.
The body work is the only let down on this car. Started to bubble around the rear arches. Small dent in the passenger door, small dent under the passenger rear light, what looks like a nasty stone chip in the bonnet, headlights need a refurb, reversed into a pillar and damaged bumper (severely annoyed at that) various little bits around the car, but it can still shine like a diamond. These photos are after a quick detailer, not clayed or waxed.
I love this car and an only selling due to wanting a compact, so i can swap one of these engines in for added weight saving.
I also have the engine covers and undertrays to go with aswell. Covers will go back on making it look oem under the bonnet.
