This BMW 335d came to us for a diagnostic run due to intermittent power loss. We confirmed this on our dyno and plugged it in to see a swirl flap fault
We fitted a swirl flap delete kit and cleaned the inlet manifold as 140k miles of carbon build up was definitely noticeable!
This was then strapped back on our dyno and remapped, gaining 62hp & 60ftlb over standard.
Previous:
296hp & 445ftlb (after the swirl flap fix)
After our custom tune:
358hp & 505ftlb
