Yep me
Been checking out this website for a year or two now with the intention to buy one eventually and this was ont door step :D
It went back on the road at the end of last year after being in dry storage up on axel stands sinse 1991.
Used from 82-91 with 3 owners in that time and covered 80k.
The guy I bought it from (the 4th owner) had a motor bike accident and bought this to tinker with, He replaced all the brakes, exhaust, turbo, headlights and loads of other small bits plugs, leads etc etc.
Its 100% solid and very original but needs a little tidy to the paint, Im a panel beater/sprayer so will sort the paint over the winter and just run it as-is this summer

Welcome and well done on the bidding, i was watching it when it finished, you did well to get it. I take it by the location and rear window sticker this ones in Scotland?

Cheers mate, yes its in Montrose Scotland but was in Forres which is 100 miles north-west of me up near Inverness.
The spooky thing is the seller had a R5G just the same but on a Y plate back in the early 90s and when he sold that 15 years ago it also sold to a chap in Montrose  Not to me I might add
