In the last year it's had discs and pads all round, 2 x rear shocks from Renault.2 x front shocks (2nd hand) fitted by ollie,
New clutch 24 k ago with complete new hydraulics, slave, master, pipes with bleed valve fitted. Good leather inside and bodywork's pretty good, only slight rusting on wheel arches.
Bad points are idles erratic, needs a ball joint and 1 wheel bearings starting to go.Power steerings a bit noisy on start up.
Looking for ?950

Leather looks nice n clean....!!!!

Good luck with the sale....

I've seen this car several times in passing & it looks clean....

Lost my job mate, and still un-employed, that's long gone lol.

Sorry to hear that.....not a good time of year to be unemployed...!!!

By the way, DAZ is stripped, waiting for a front mount intercooler to be fitted...it's resting in my garage at the moment & won't be coming out to play until the new year.....

Ahhh good old DAZ, we had lots of fun together, I still go outside and expect to see that car sitting in the drive!

Glad to see it's still getting looked after, definitely sold to the right person, would have hated it to get wrecked, now it's getting more cash lavished on it :)

Did you get anywhere with the annoying clunk?

The annoying clunk......?? No I decided to live with it...I'm more worried about the oil leak from the gearbox...who changed the box by the way as the leak appers to be coming from the drive shaft seals..:-(

Local garage done the clutch and gearbox mate. Every 21 turbo I've owned has had leaking driveshaft seals to some extent, was once told by a Renault mechanic it was a design feature lol.

This is more of a flood than a leak....I had the box oil changed thinking it may help with the notchy box only for it all to piss out over my garage floor...:-(

Yeah to Ollie.

So I heard....he was jealous cause I had a phase 3 & I think the black pearl is way to rusty to save.....

Conversely, none of mine have ever leaked since my first one. The Quadra has never spilled a drop from the box, or the engine for that matter.

Was is it the right type of oil?

I'm sure you will have used the right stuff just weird for the same type of oil to suddenly leak everywhere when it wasn't leaking like that before.

That's clearly because you drive your cars in such a safe and gentle manner Dave.

I've also never had a 21 with a leaky box....& yes I did use the correct oil....the reason you hadn't noticed the leak was the fact there was no oil in the box...:-)

It's going Dave in the new year to get it sorted once & for all...!!

Mine has a slight drip, I was going to replace the drive shaft seals in the summer but I'm unsure which way they went, inside out or outside in? And tbh it's so so slight it's not even worth worrying about I don't think.
