Realised I didn't have a thread on here about my Raider so figured I'd start one for those of you who don't know me? It's a little bit (in)famous in the UK 5GTT World, I'll let the pictures do the talking:

So, as you can see she's certainly been around but she is a bit of a show queen now, and is only used in the summer. I only tax it for 6 months every year from April - September. But that does not mean it gets rarely used during the Summer, I typically don't think anything of driving it through Europe for Holidays/Ring Trips etc. and this summer is no exception, I'm going to be driving it to Le-Chatre on 7 - 11th May for the 30 Year GT Turbo Event!

I always like to give it a full service and go-over before the Summer begins and that was job was yesterday!.

Jacked her up! New Oil, Filter, Spark Plugs, Dizzy Cap, Rotor etc.. Also fitted a new battery, as the old one wasn't holding enough charge. I also finally got round to getting rid of the stupid Peco Big Bore 2 centre section exhaust that I had to fit in a rush a few years ago when I BLEW UP the OE silencer box I had! I also decided to fit a Devil back box I've had for a few year?

By far the best 5 I have seen in the flesh... although 2015 will bring it some competition, but the best thing about this 5, it's used!!

Gents, I cannot recommend this new battery HIGHLY ENOUGH!!

The Raider now starts like a different car with this bad boy giving the starter the wallop it deserves!! I can't believe I was p1ssing about for so many years with an old Battery!! I bought it of eBay if you're interested:
