Automatic Choke

hi there, im buying a laguna tomorrow, 1994 1.8, i have been informed that the automatic choke on it was disconnected at some point, i have no clue about this but i would assume reconnecting it should be easy, anyone know about this and where the auto-choke is located? thanks in advance lads
