This great A5 TDI S-Line was a recent purchase and while looking great from ten feet, up close - it wasn't.
Loads of bad wash marring and scratches were robbing the gloss from the finish.
It was decided that a few stages of machine polishing were in order. Some marks were so severe that they'd have to be improved rather than removed to save clear coat for the future.
A grubby start.

Hazy finish.

The weather wasn't playing ball during the wash process so back inside after the usual stages; wheels, tyres and arches, engine bay, snow foam, 2 bucket wash, iron fall out and tar removal - all with Auto Finesse products.
Compressed air and an Aqua Deluxe towel used for drying.
The engine bay was dried and dressed using Dressle.

Next everything was clayed, including the wheels.

The top of the headlights were dull, so these were polished up.

Some scratches on the bonnet.

Removed.

Marred roof.

The boot lid has lots of bad scratches, some were very deep so just an improvement was made,
