Megane Artic blue 225

Hey you lot, it's been a little while since I had anything to update as the Megane hibernates in the garage in the winter months! I made a purchase yesterday that is the holy grail to all 225/r26 owners and here it is...

LSD!!! Came out of a 58 plate r26 with 60k on the clock. Me and @Brigsy went from Middlesbrough to Essex to pick this bad boy up, 520 miles and only £500! These normally go for about £700 - £800 so well worth the 5.30am start on a Saturday! :lazy2.gif::clapping.gif:

Are these the drilled brembo's from ebay? Or could you let me know where you got them and the price if you don't mind. I'm in the market for some brakes myself. Thanks.

Fcs done ! 610 miles and no issues

Didnt have much confidence in the ns-2r's though ! I went for cold tyre pressures of 25f/27r as recommended. First run out on the castle combe and they felt like wooden blocks when cold no grip and understeer central  i had an oh feck 4 wheel drift moment at one point. Once up to temp and scrubbed in they were 'ok' but do not really rate them. They felt a bit loose at all times but could still press on. Very average performance actually preferred the old potenza's ! Still had 130mph each time before avon rise and shafted a couple of r26s and a meg 265 :D

Check out this vid 8.53 onwards
This was from the last 20 mins of the open pit. The camera car was a 205 and i was in front. I was flying along until the clios slowed me down (sadly lots of bad driving !) Still really impressed on how the car performs. Stock brakes, open diff and cooksports and adequate power:D

A couple of pics (did not take many sadly !)20160605_115609.webp 20160604_171443.webp
