I was keeping my boot flat down in 4th through folley - straight into 5th gear after @Sheryl_O said best we seen was 128mph coming up to avon rise and late braking just before the peak. Felt pretty stable to be honest although had to totally commit through the folley in 4th gear as no way you can lift off as it felt a little twitchy. I had a brown pants moment trying to see off a caged track prepared 182 through old paddock bend, carried too much speed into it and had a bit of a 4 wheel drift moment lol.

I would love to do this again with better pads up front and semi slicks/lsd - awesome track

Plenty of track days ran there. Plenty of members close by too. Tis a great track. I've lifted on the exit of folley before, only once due to being brake checked, was scary as fook. Hit the grass briefly whilst sideways. Was in the sc clio so was carrying a fair whack of speed too.

I bet that was arse nipping. I wonder if i could keep the van flat to the boards through there lol.

Do it (y) it's defo a committed corner, get it wrong going through there with can see you wrong over Avon too which is also bad going into quarry. There's a few castle combe crash vids around. Other than that great track for fast paced fun.

Done the short shift mod and fixed the stiff gear actuator that was causing issues with gear selection on track - The bush expands on the gear actuator and makes Gear selection a bit sloppy as its stiff. Easy fix by drilling the bush out to 10mm and plenty of grease:)

The short shift mod was easy. Whip the actuator out of the box 5 bolts, grind off the burred end of the original ball stud and punch it out. Drill another hole 20mm closer to the pivot and tap m8 thread, fit a new 10mm ball stud (£2 off eBay :D) job done
Gear change is 100% improved nice and positive and the throw is a fair bit shorter. For a cheap mod this is awesome, a must for any megane.
