Megane Artic blue 225

looks good, possibly needs some spacers or different offset wheels now though, with the drop its made the wheels look lost in the arches,in my opinion obviously (y)

I think its just the dodgy shadow with the instagram filter matey. Know where your coming from though, the wheels look tiny in that pic. This is a more normal pic lol

i know what you mean @Billy Pallets, i seen a stock 225 yesterday and the wheels do look tucked in the arch. Not a big fan of spacers myself, heard of wheels falling off in the past.

Some nice low et 18" compomotive or pl racing wheels would fill the arches nicely. 18" prices are the only problem

Wouldn't fit spacers... my car had them ... handled like shit (most likely as had kept original length bolts in).... wouldn't say the looked much different.

I've ran spacers a fair few times, just check the wheel bolts every so often as you should anyway. I had one come loose the day after a track day but I put that down to not checking the torque once cooled off for a few hours, I always use longer bolts but much prefer the bolt on the hub types. My supercharged clio ran with spacers flat out and on track for 10k no issues

Bolt length = Original length + Spacer width. I mean, it's not rocket science is it :)

I converted to studs with these beasties :)

Are they ford studs pressed in from the back? I can remember Andy Cooke fitting some back in the day on his rainbow warrior. Im tempted to do it to the van as i need to change both wheel bearings asap.

they are off the shelf for the clios im sure they would be the same for the van. sibbers probably knows the name for them meaning any fastners could supply them to you

No mate they're M14 double ended studs that wind in, I've thread locked them in to stop them coming out when I crank off the wheel bolt. Like these

eBay item [HASHTAG]#281461492183[/HASHTAG]

There's shitloads of them on eBay (Yours will be M12 like the link above though) and all sorts. You need the studs, nuts and the star drive key (buy 2 of these). Make sure you know whether you can use standard nuts, slimline nuts (21mm OD) or grayston tuner nuts (19mm OD)... I ended up buying all three because I didnt pay attention to my wheels before I bought lol

You can aim for it.
Last person that tried that got less than 300 ;)

If you beat it , I am either forging or selling.

I think it's doable! Shall have to wait and see, waiting for the clutch to start spitting its dummy so I can fit a diff, get the clutch sorted, turbo on and remapped in one go...who likes money anyway!! Well over rated :i-m_so_happy.gif: lol
