AP racing 4pot calipers + pads:NEW clioV6

Good luck mate !

Despite them having a pair on the shelf the guy who could give the yes/no steadfastly refused to budge and will not sell the calipers over the counter. My contact did hint that the Renault price was vastly inflated over what the AP price is though!
I Even tried a registered AP dealer to see if they could blag them for me but no dice :075: :blaaa:

Currently seeing what a similar caliper and adapter would cost. Bloody contracted sales.....Robbing Renault ****ers!

they cant take the risk, easy as that.

Breaks are sold now, maybe i get some other in the future. Depends what left in dieppe.

Why don't you just ask the AP guy then what off the shelf commercial caliper they do which is an exact match (or measurement exact) to the 'Clio' one then. Its doubtful that Renault would have specified a unique outer casting..

Yeah it seems they have collared the casting, as that particular one was reserved to TWR before that.

Only option is to get the nearest universal caliper and make mounting brackets :dunno: :dunno:

Dammit.

Or hold out for Clio v6 breaking on fleabay. There was one before xmas, still going to be pricey though I reckon. Breakers will know what these parts are worth. And judging by the pics of the one breaking, there wasnt much left to salvage from it, looked front ended and rolled. Meaning he would of wanted top dollar for everything. Do Willwood still stock big brake kits for the 21?

maybe, just maybe, i'll can get my hands on more sets. I'll have to wait on the answer from my supplier.

look what i found.and a good price, the guy may have some more soon:good2:

Jo, could you please tell me what is about mounting space????

I have a set of AP Racing 6605-08 and 09 from a clio V6 and is impossible to fit them at my Quadra, as my Q has 125mm mounting space and clio has 140mm

I think your friend has something changed at his 21....

Thank you in advance
