Anyone seen any really good black friday deals?

Philips hue for me .
Can't stand Hue or Ikea Trådfri. I'd like the wall switches to work properly.
I'm using z-wave for home automation and will be installing 3 Fibaro dimmers in our bathroom that's being built now.
As for Black Friday deals, I'm hoping for a good deal on a DreamScreen setup. :D

Tell me more - have you had issues ?
I haven't actually tried either, since I want to be able to use the wall switches. I don't want to need to pull up a phone to turn on the living room lights for instance, I also think it looks a bit retarded to use something like the Ikea remote or Hue switches next to the regular switches. I also think it's kind of stupid to put the intelligence in something expendable, like a bulb, and would rather install it in the switches. I'm using Qubino and Fibaro z-wave devices at home.
I guess Hue or Trådfri could be used for window lights and exterior lights which you typically want to control more depending on time of day or the suns position etc. than manually via switches but since I already have z-wave devices I control the window lights that way as well.

Note that these are my opinions of the technology and not the people using them. For many, these products offer something they would not get otherwise due to complexity for instance.

Interesting viewpoint.

I’ll check out the fibaro
This is getting off topic but...
you'll also need a z-wave controller for those products. I run a VeraPlus from MiCasaVerde, but many run a USB stick together with RPi and Home Assistant, Homey is also gaining popularity. Fibaro's controllers don't support z-wave plus yet, and you do want that :)

Not "Smart" but I use wall switches and standalone remotes from a place called Retrotouch.

You get touchpanel glass light switches for the wall and a remote fob with each switch with 4 buttons, A, B, C and D. It's like a car alarm fob. They're cross programmable so in my living room I have one 2-gang switch and one 1-gang switch at the other end, and I use buttons A and B for each side of the 2-gang, C for the single, and D is "All off". 2 switches = 2 remotes and each remote works all 3 lights.

The little blue eyes are always lit and are just visible in the dark, and they go red when the switch is activated.

RenaultPartsDirect have got some good 'black Friday' discounts going on at the mo; eg, pair of R26/225cup front shocks for £86.

Halfords are currently selling their 200-piece socket & ratchet-spanner set for £135.
