Where do you get them from? I have been looking everywhere and even Renault say that they are no longer available for the atmo.
do you mean dizzi caps and rotor arms generally or the ducelier black plastic type, as said most motor factors can supply the brick red crappy type, i got a decent ducelier for my turbo of ebay as a one off but someone must sell them new,, as for the atmo cant recall which style it is but again i would keep eyes on ebay uk and france or maybe contact one of the ignition specialists out there they may be able to point you somewhere. i wonder if for the turbo gordini at least the gtturbo cap and arm may be the same as they are available in the black type.

It's not getting a spark.Although saying that i only come to this conclusion after trying one lead and plug lying against the cylinder head to look for a spark, there wasn't one.But then i thought for the hell of it i would test all the leads with the spark plug stuck in them lying against the engine, only two of the leads gave a spark??and this didn't mean two of the leads were faulty either as i swapped the leads over to the cylinder i was getting a spark and it was fine!So this meant two of the leads weren't getting a spark from the top of the cap?Im renewing the cap, leads and rotor arm.
try to avoid the nasty red plastic cheap variety that a lot of motor factors sell i have had bad experince of those, i now have the black ducelier type and thats fine
That'll be the nasty cheap plastic red one i've just gone and bought then! To replace the nasty cheap plastic red one that was already on it! I'll look into trying to find a good one.
lol the one i had trouble with may have been just a dud but it put me off that type..

So,just completely wasted my time buying leads, dizzy cap and rotorarm, made absolutely no difference whatsoever!Still no spark,oh joy!Im starting to think i imagined it started well for three days in a row last week lol,i actually had to come back on here to check i typed it started last week! :D

you dont have an immobilizer fitted do you? i had one on my car and it was fitted very badly, caused me problems then went in the bin. where the engine bay loom enters the engine bay there are i think 3 wires on black connectors think its a 2 and 1 that are right close to bulkhead, test these as they can be used to immobilize the car and if you have a bad wire worth a check. a look at the wiring diagram should tell you there use.
