As some of you may read it was my 22nd birthday last wednesday, on thursday i went down to see a MK2 Vee for sale and ended up buying the best birthday present ever!!!

Here she is :-

Im just waiting for the paperwork to go through so i can put my private plate back on.

I have a few questions that i was wondering if someone might be able to help me out with.

* Where can i buy the AP Racing stickers from to put on the front brakes?

* Is it just a case of painting the calipers or do they need to be powder coated?

* Please could people post some pics up thier brakes because im stuck on which colour to paint mine.

* Whats happening with the perspex engine cover? Is it still going ahead because i would like one on mine.

Yeah Ebay for your decals

Calipers need cleaning and then a matter of painting with a few of smooth hammerite.
Build the coats up slowly with a good couple of hours between each coat, 3 or 4 coats should do it. :approve:

ap decals can be purchased from a seller on ebay called uber9 - if you tell him they are for a vee, he knows what you want.

I did my calipers black, the decals I got are yellow (the classic ap colourway)

Get them done, they'll look great

Wheels are polished with AG SRP, Sealed with Poorboys and waxed with rimwax from chemical guys...

Can't remember wat i used on the tyres....Think it was Blackfire gel...infact it was first time i used it.
