Another gearbox thread.. oil this time

just wanted to share this with you. I noticed Steve had put this stuff in at last service, so thought I'd try it..

it ain't cheap at £16 per litre but blimey it's good stuff, as soon as I'd changed it this morning the gearbox was noticeably smoother with slicker changes.

I tried shell then redline and finally the recommended elf stuff and from my experience the elf was better than redline

Have also read in this forum the brass content in the box is why using elf is important - all I know is it smells like rotten eggs but does the trick!
